Yeah I saw his user ID.

I messaged him about a sample, and he said it would be possible, but wanted to go outside of escrow. I messaged him back, requesting escrow - so we'll see what happens. I'll post any updates to this thread.

His products looks good, something for everyone.
I'd like to see him start using PGP public key, for his safety as a vendor and our safety as buyers. :D

Eager for updates.

Im also very eager for updates on this. I have contacted him personally as well asking for picture of product and to venture into possibly buying some of the product, which is at a great price.

i ordered 2 grams outside of escrow yesterday and he said he was going to ship it out today.  it is coming from europe and was told it would be 7-10 days.  i am in the u.s.

i emailed him today to ask if it has gone out and if it had a tracking number.  no response yet.

he said he had 17 grams left before my order.  he also said that he was going to be getting a shit-ton more.

i will keep you updated as to what happens with the delivery.

going outside of escrow with a new seller especially is such a bad idea. no idea why anyone would money away like that. any new seller who will only sell outside of escrow is someone you should avoid imo.

I really don't like this guy.  I PM'd him a few times as to whether my order would be crossing into US customs, he never answered back.  Somebody as shady as to not reveal their country of origin to a potential buyer just doesn't sit well with me.  Now he's committing the number one SR mortal sin of wanting to bypass escrow?

You have got to be fucking kidding me if you want to deal with this asshole.

Digitalist is quite the piece of work.  When I placed the order, he placed the product "in transit" and sent me a message telling me in great detail how he shipped the package and also asked me to release the money from escrow right away because he was afraid that the BTC market would crash.  Well, I'm not going to do that, especially after what I've read about him on the boards.  Now just today, 8 days after he told me it was shipped, he sent me another message telling me that it wasn't shipped and he would only ship it after I accepted the order and released the BTC.  I think that there are a lot of people on here using way too much of their own product.

Well this thread should certainly end his scamming ways.
If it doesn't make sure I know so he can be banned from the marketplace and never go outside of escrow gentlemen....the only reason it's there is to save you from being scammed. :D

starting to think there needs to be warnings for people to not go outside of escrow and for sure a warning about people pulling the "press finalize and i'll send you the btc" scam. maybe a thread can be made about scams people are attempting and linked to on SR main site. as new scams come up they can be posted and can have it all in one thread. i'm sure alot more people then have admited it have been scamed.

Well, the "press finalize and I'll send the btc" scam can be dealt with easily enough by giving vendors the option to cancel the order from their end, even after it is "in transit."  We all know that envious was a legit seller, and had some problem with his last batch of orders.  I was one of those, but to get my btc coins back without putting myself at risk, I had to wait until the "resolve" option popped up.  If buyers have the option to release coins from escrow to the seller after the item has shipped, maybe sellers should have the option to "finalize" and release btc to the buyer at any point during the transaction.  That way if something gets screwed up on their end, they can just return the btc to the buyer immediately.

I know digitalist scammed me, and even admitted to not shipping the product, but I have to wait another few days just to "resolve" the issue, and if he doesn't give them back right away I have to wait another 5 days for SR staff to get involved.  That's almost a month without those BTC.  I hope SR is at least earning interest on that money :-)
